God Is Our Defender...πŸ™πŸŒΏπŸŒΌπŸ•Š

Today’s Word:

Have you ever wondered, Where is God when you feel attacked? Where is He when others plot against you?

In 2 Kings 6, the king of Aram planned to ambush Israel. But each time, God revealed his plans to Elisha, who warned the king of Israel. Frustrated, the king of Aram shifted his target to Elisha himself. He sent an army to surround Elisha, but God stepped in. God blinded the enemy, confusing and scattering them. Even when we can’t see God’s protection, He is working on our behalf. When the enemy surrounds us, God surrounds them.

Think of Esther and Mordecai. Haman plotted to kill them and even built gallows to hang Mordecai. But God saw every detail of Haman's scheme. In the end, the very gallows meant for Mordecai became Haman’s downfall (Esther 7:10). God turned Haman’s plans against him. Without lifting a finger in vengeance, Esther and Mordecai trusted God, and He defended them.

So when you feel attacked or vulnerable, remember: God sees all and knows all. Romans 12:19 says, “Do not take revenge…‘It is mine to avenge; I will repay,’ says the Lord.” Instead of fighting back, focus on trusting God, doing good, and letting Him defend you.

Today’s Prayer:

Father, thank You for this beautiful and blessed day. Father, thank You for protecting me, even when I can’t see it. Help me trust You fully, knowing You are my Defender and my ONLY Judge. Teach me to release the need for revenge and to rest in Your care. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Taking Measure...πŸ™πŸŒΏπŸŒΌπŸ•Š

Creating the Panama Canal required sophisticated measurements that were limited at the turn of the century. John the Revelator was asked in vision to take measurements, not of a canal, but of “the temple of God, the altar, and those who worship there” (Revelation 11:1). Why would John be asked to conduct these measurements? Like in Ezekiel’s vision, the restoration of God’s work was marked by taking careful measure. Have you measured your own heart to see where you stand with The Lord?

Our Faith Falters...πŸ™πŸŒΏπŸŒΌπŸ•Š

Today's Word:

Have you ever made a promise to God, only to find yourself struggling to keep it? Have you ever declared your faith, yet faltered when the pressure came? Peter told Jesus he would never deny Him (Matthew 26:33-34), and the Israelites declared, "All that the Lord has said we will do" (Exodus 19:8). They meant it. So, what went wrong?

Peter missed the chance to build his spiritual muscles when he failed to stay up and pray with Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane (Matthew 26:40-41). He relied on his own strength, and when the testing time came, he wasn’t ready. Isn’t it the same for us? When we depend on ourselves, we find ourselves weak and unprepared for the trials. 1 Corinthians 10:12 reminds us to take heed, for even when we think we stand strong, we are in danger of falling.

But here’s the beauty of God’s grace: He doesn’t discard us when we fail. Like the potter with the clay (Jeremiah 18:4), He keeps working with us, shaping and reshaping us according to His purpose. God knows our weaknesses and our future decisions, yet He always provides an opportunity for restoration. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool” (Isaiah 1:18). He is faithful and just to forgive our sins (1 John 1:9).

When we fail, God doesn’t turn His back. He offers us the chance to repent and grow from our mistakes, molding us into something new. Our failures are not the end—they are simply moments where we can learn to trust Him more.

Today's Prayer:

Father, thank You for this beautiful and blessed day. I ask for Your grace to help me stand strong in times of testing. When I fail, remind me that You are the Potter, reshaping me in Your love. Thank You for Your faithfulness and for never giving up on me. In Jesus' name, Amen.

100%...πŸ™πŸŒΏπŸŒΌπŸ•Š

Today's Word:

A Christian man was flying in the first-class section of a European airline when he was repeatedly offered a complimentary alcoholic drink. He politely refused each offer.  He kindly explained, “I am a Christian, and I do not drink alcohol.”

When the manager insisted, the Christian man calmly replied, “I propose you give this drink to the pilot.” The manager, startled, responded, “How can the pilot drink alcohol? He’s on duty! If he drinks, there’s a chance the plane could crash.” With tears in his eyes, the Christian said, “I am a Christian, and I am always on duty. If I drink alcohol, I could crash my life here and in eternity.”

We, too, must live with that same awareness. It might not be alcohol for you; it could be the temptation to give in to anger, dishonesty, sexual immorality, or neglecting to share God’s Word. We are always on duty, responsible for protecting our faith and living for Christ in every choice we make.

The world may try to persuade us to lower our standards, but we must remember: just like the pilot must stay sober for the safety of everyone onboard, we must stay spiritually vigilant. Every action we take has eternal significance—not just for us, but for those who look to us as examples.

Today's Prayer:

Father, thank You for this beautiful and blessed day. Help us to remember that we are always on duty as Christians, representing You in all we do. Give us the strength to resist the temptations of this world, whether it be alcohol, anger, or anything that might lead us astray. Guide us to be vigilant in our faith and to lead others by our example. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Stay Out Of The Woods...πŸ™πŸŒΏπŸŒΌπŸ•Š

“But now you are free from the power of sin and have become humble and obedient to God. Now you do those things that lead to holiness and result in eternal life.” Romans 6:2

Why are people attracted to the woods? It’s because the woods are beautiful. Millions of people visit national forests because they’re beautiful, but there’s danger in those woods. Sin is beautiful. Sin is attractive. Sin is not an ugly thing at first. Satan will show you his penthouse; he’ll never show you his pigpen. He’ll show you his rookies but never his veterans who have been sinning for a long time because they are all messed up from sin.

When Eskimos in Alaska want to capture wolves, they have an interesting way of doing it. They’ll take a sharp knife and dip it in seal’s blood, one of the wolves' favorite meals. Then they will let it dry in the frigid air and dip it again and again until the blood starts to get thicker and thicker. They will repeat this until they make a seal’s blood Popsicle that is so thick with ice blood, that it hides the sharp blade on the inside. Next they will stick the knife down in the snow because they know that the wolf will come running. The wolf will begin to lick the blade and, oh, he loves what he’s tasting. It’s his favorite meal. But there comes a point where he cannot discern the difference between the taste of the seal’s blood and his own.  And he eventually shreds his tongue to pieces and after a while his strength begins to drain. Little by little, that which was enjoyable begins to kill him.

And that is exactly what sin does. Nobody gets away with playing with sin. Sin hurts, destroys, and brings heartbreak every time. In the story in 2 Samuel 18, the woods killed more soldiers than the sword. Watching young, church-raised kids go off to college and disappear in the woods is heartbreaking. Many young people think they can hang out in the woods for a season with no consequences but many times they don’t make it back. Sin takes over their lives and they forget about God and his plan for their lives.

See, the point is this: It’s easier to get into the woods than it is to get out of the woods. It’s easier to get on drugs than it is to get off of drugs. It’s easier to get into sex than it is to deal with all of the ramifications of sex. Sin is like a spider’s web. The more you try to get loose, the more tangled you get, and before you know it, even though you know the way back to God, you’re so bound up in the woods you can’t get free.

We MUST Get Out Of The Woods And Stay Out Of The Woods!

Stay Out Of The Woods...πŸ™πŸŒΏπŸŒΌπŸ•Š

Absalom rebelled and wanted to take over the kingdom. The two armies met in a battle to decide who would be king of Israel- David or Absalom. During the war, Absalom led his men off of the battlefield into the woods. This was a wrong decision. The Bible tells us that the woods devoured more than the sword devoured. Twenty thousand men lost their lives. Their location and environment did something to them that their armor could not save them from.

You see, if you put yourself in situations, settings, or the wrong environment, not even the whole armor of God will keep you. Your own determination and will to love Jesus can’t always stop you from sinning when you put yourself in the wrong environment. Soldiers don’t belong in the woods; soldiers belong on the battlefield. The Bible said the woods slaughtered them. Many people fall away from God, not because the enemy is too strong, but because they put themselves in the wrong situations. There is no demon in hell that can take you out of the palm of God’s hand if you love the Lord. That’s why the enemy tries to lure you out of the church. He wants to lure you away from the right people and get you into the wrong environment. Stay Out Of The Woods!

So many young people with great potential have fallen away from God’s calling on their lives just because they got too comfortable in places they didn’t belong. They got too comfortable in relationships and friendships they needed to distance themselves from. Little by little, they began to go into the woods, just one lousy website, just experimenting, just one date, just one drink, just one party, just sex one time. They didn’t ever think the woods would get a hold of them and keep them longer than they wanted to stay, but the woods began to devour them.

You are in the woods when you’re pulling up pornography on your phone or when you’re listening to musical pornography on iTunes. And even though you may be a faithful churchgoer and the blood of Jesus has forgiven you, you have to stay out of the woods, or you will suffer a humiliating, painful defeat. Don't return to that old lifestyle if you have given your life to Christ. Don’t go back to those old relationships. Don’t go back to that old filthy language. Stay Out Of The Woods! Even your armor can’t help you there. A blind man can beat you up anytime he wants to. All he has to do is turn out the lights because you’re on his turf. And when you’re looking at filth, listening to filth, and hanging out with bad company, you’re going into the woods, and the woods will do to you exactly what Satan want. You MUST Come Out Of The Woods And Stay Out Of The Woods!

Darkness for Light...πŸ™πŸŒΏπŸŒΌπŸ•Š

By their devotion to the world and forgetfulness of God and His word, their understanding had become darkened, their hearts earthly and sensual. Thus they were in ignorance concerning Messiah's advent, and in their pride and unbelief they rejected the Redeemer. God did not even then cut off the Jewish nation from a knowledge of, or a participation in, the blessings of salvation. But those who rejected the truth lost all desire for the gift of Heaven. They had "put darkness for light, and light for darkness," until the light which was in them became darkness; and how great was that darkness! -GC EGWhite

Dear friend,  may we have an earnest will to surrender our heart and mind to The Lord today and stop lip service!  The day of The Lord is fast approaching,  now is the time to accept The Light and stop groping in darkness.
