Who Are You?...πŸ™πŸŒΏπŸŒΌπŸ’žπŸ•Š

Many who profess to be looking for the speedy coming of Christ, are becoming conformed to this world, and seek more earnestly for the applause of those around them, than the approbation of God.

Many of these professed Christians dress, talk and act like the world, and the only thing by which they may be known, is their profession. Though they profess to be looking for Christ, their conversation is not in heaven, but on worldly things.

The way to heaven is rugged. Briers and thorns are in the way; but we can with cheerfulness tread the rough pathway, knowing that Jesus, the King of glory, once trod it before us. We will rejoice that we can follow in His footsteps, and be partakers with Him of His sufferings, that we may finally partake of His glory.

What if reproaches are heaped upon me, even by those who profess to be looking for the Lord? Shall I complain, when Jesus bore the scoffs and derision of His own people? No, I will not complain; I will rather rejoice and be exceeding glad that I am accounted worthy to suffer for Christ's sake, that my reward may be in heaven. Only let me have an inheritance in glory, and it will be enough.

Let us strive to be Christians (Christ-like) in every sense of the word, and let our dress, conversation and actions preach that Christ is formed within, the hope of glory, and that we are looking for that blessed hope and glorious appearing of Jesus. My affections, interest, treasure, all, are in the bright world to come. I long to see the King in His beauty.— Sons And Daughters Of God p. 352

God Is L O V E...πŸ™πŸ’žπŸŒΏπŸŒΌπŸ•Š

How crucial it is for us always to remember, and not forget, what God has done for us in Christ!   “It would be well for us to spend a thoughtful hour each day in contemplation of the life of Christ. We should take it point by point, and let the imagination grasp each scene, especially the closing ones. As we thus dwell upon His great sacrifice for us, our confidence in Him will be more constant, our love will be quickened, and we shall be more deeply imbued with His spirit.”—Ellen G. White, The Desire of Ages, p. 83.

Have you ever questioned God’s great love for you? Read the story of Jesus’ crucifixion in Matthew 26– 28 and reflect on how much heaven gave for you.

When God Puts You On Hold...πŸ™πŸŒΏπŸŒΌπŸ•Š

“About midnight, Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly, there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once, all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose.” Acts 15:25-26.   Acts 16:25 says that at midnight, Paul and Silas were in jail when suddenly a great earthquake shook the prison's foundations, setting them free. But at 11:59, Paul and Silas had yet to learn what the future would bring. They were praising despite having bleeding backs. Things were looking bleak for them. They had no idea that everything was about to change. Similarly, in Exodus 11, the Israelites were in bondage. At 11:59, they were poor slaves who were broken and mistreated. But at midnight, they were all set free by the blood of the lamb. For years and years, God had seemed to be inactive, but in a blink, everything changed. Don’t lose hope. You never know when you are a minute away from a miracle. You may be at a place in your life where you feel like God has put you on hold. You may feel forsaken by God and may not understand everything going on. Satan’s favorite time to double down on his discouragement in your life is right before your miracle comes through. If you are in that “11:59” place in your life, keep praising anyhow. God has a plan for your life, and all the days of your life were written down before one of them came to pass. (Psalm 139:16). You matter, and you will get through this. Better days are coming! God will show up in the midnight hour to open doors and loosen chains. The hardship will end and you will walk into a new season of blessing! 100% to God = 0% Compromise to the world!
