Gaining Better Eyesight...πŸ™πŸŒΏπŸŒΌπŸ’žπŸ•Š

Today’s Word:

Clear spiritual sight is vital for believers, and it involves learning to see as the Lord sees. This requires a shift in our perspective, and today’s passage provides a practical blueprint for learning to discern with the eyes of Christ: “Do not judge” (v. 1). True understanding begins with an awareness of our sins so we can “take the log out” (v. 5) from our own eye and see ourselves and others for what we truly are—forgiven and beloved daughters and sons.

1 Samuel 16:7 tells us that God doesn’t see as man does. Seeing with the eyes of Christ means searching beyond surface appearances and asking the Spirit to help us look more deeply into the heart of things. Jesus truly saw people—He recognized their brokenness and compassionately sought their good. May we be willing to do the same. Learning to view others as God does is the joyous labor of a lifetime, and the rewards for doing so are great.

Today’s Prayer:

Father, thank You for this beautiful and blessed day. Thank You for looking beyond my sinful state and seeing my possibilities. Father, help me see with Your eyes, beyond surface judgments, embracing forgiveness and compassion. Guide me to view others as beloved, with empathy and grace. In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen.

His Reasons...His Timing...πŸ™πŸŒΏπŸŒΌπŸ’žπŸ•Š

Sometimes life breaks us in ways we cannot explain. Job knew that pain. In one sweeping storm, he lost his children, his wealth, and his health. Yet through his tears he whispered, “Shall we accept good from God, and not adversity?” (Job 2:10). He didn’t understand, but he still held on to God.

Joseph, too, could have drowned in bitterness. Betrayed by his brothers, sold into slavery, forgotten in prison—his life seemed like one closed door after another. But later, with eyes filled not with anger but with grace, he told his brothers, “You meant evil against me; but God meant it for good” (Genesis 50:20).

And Jochebed, the mother of Moses—can you imagine her trembling hands as she placed her precious baby in a basket on the Nile? Every motherly instinct must have screamed to hold on tighter, but she chose to let go and trust God’s timing. And through that act of surrender, God raised up a deliverer for Israel.

Each of these stories breathes the same truth: God’s ways may hurt, His timing may confuse, but His love never fails. What looks like loss may be the seed of a miracle. What feels like the end may be the very beginning of your deliverance.

So when you find yourself in a pit, or at the edge of a river of uncertainty, remember this: He sees. He knows. And in His time, He will reveal the beauty behind the pain.

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

Father, thank You for this beautiful and blessed day. When my heart feels broken and I cannot see what You are doing, help me to trust You still. Give me the faith of Job, the courage of Joseph, and the surrender of Jochebed. Hold me when I feel weak, and remind me that You are writing a story far greater than I can see. In Jesus’ name, Amen

Let Your Light So Shine...πŸ™πŸŒΏπŸŒΌπŸ’žπŸ•Š

To every soul born into Christ's kingdom is given a solemn charge, Let your light so shine.

The deep struggles of my own soul against temptations, the earnest longings of my mind and heart to know God and Jesus Christ as my personal Saviour, and to have assurance, peace, and rest in their love, lead me to desire every day to be where the beams of the Sun of Righteousness can shine upon me. Without this experience, I shall indeed meet with great loss, and all with whom I associate will be affected by the loss of the light I ought to be receiving from the Source of all light and comfort, and to be flashing into their pathway. Shall I be indeed a light unto the world, or a shadow of darkness?- Our Father Cares p. 127. Choose Light...

Surrounded...πŸ™πŸŒΏπŸŒΌπŸ’žπŸ•Š

TODAY’S WORD:

In Daniel 3, three Hebrew teenagers were thrown into the fiery furnace because they wouldn’t bow to King Nebuchadnezzar’s golden idol. Surrounded by intense fire, they should have died instantly. But the God who created fire and controls the universe, the fourth man, had the final say.

He was right there in the fire with them, surrounding them with His protection. You may feel like you’re in the fire today. Things have come against you. What’s surrounding you may look powerful, strong, insurmountable. The good news is, our God is all-powerful.

That sickness may look like the end, but when God says “live,” you’ll live. That addiction may seem permanent, thoughts tell you that you’re never going to break it. But God is saying, “You’re not staying in that fire.” That addiction is not how your story ends. The fourth man is about to show up, things are about to turn in your favor. What you thought was going to stop you is going to promote you instead. No matter what surrounds you, keep the right perspective. God has it surrounded.

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

Father, thank You for the gift of a new day. As I start this morning, I ask for Your peace to fill my heart and Your joy to guide my steps. Help me to approach each moment with a positive attitude and to see Your hand in all that I do. When challenges arise, remind me that You are with me, giving me the strength and wisdom I need. Thank You that when I am surrounded with challenges, I can stay in peace knowing that You are surrounding me. Thank You that You are with me in the fire whether I can see You or not. I know that You are greater than any force that comes against me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
