God’s Enduring WordπŸ™πŸŒΏπŸŒΌ...

God’s Word may be attacked, or suppressed, but it will never be eradicated. Even many professed Christians undermine its authority in various ways, questioning parts of the Bible or so emphasizing the human elements that it all but loses its divine stamp, and God’s truth is undermined.

We must never, in any way, allow ourselves to be seduced by these attacks on the Word of God.  The Word of God is still alive today, speaking to human hearts, breathing new life into those who are willing to listen to and follow its teachings.

“The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever” (Isaiah 40:8,

‭2 Corinthians 13:8 KJV‬-SSQ

Are You Being Sifted as Wheat?...πŸ™πŸŒΏπŸŒΌ

At the Last Supper, Jesus warned Simon Peter that a test of faith was coming: “Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat” (Luke 22:31, NKJV). The outspoken disciple seemed to be in the same predicament as Job when Satan sought to put him to the test (Job 1—2). Satan wanted to “sift Peter as wheat,” which means that he wished to shake Peter’s faith so forcefully that he would fall, proving that God’s faithful servant was lacking.

Before Peter’s threefold denial, he was overconfident, trusting in his own strength (Luke 22:31). But after being sifted like wheat, Peter learned that failure is possible because the flesh is weak (see Mark 14:38). Now that he understood how easy it is to fall, Peter would have compassion and mercy for others while helping them avoid the same mistake.

Let us go in prayer and fasting, growing our roots deep in the WORD  of God, so that like Job we will say, thou ye slay me, yet will I trust Him.  WAKE UP!! Our Salvation is too important to remain in slumber!  Let us be vigilant!

Creeping Compromise...πŸ™πŸŒΏπŸŒΌ

The goal of divine discipline is to strengthen God’s children and to prepare them for the fulfillment of the promise.

However, rejection of God’s instruction results in growing stubbornness and hardening of an obstinate person’s heart.

“God requires prompt and unquestioning obedience of His law; but men are asleep or paralyzed by the deceptions of Satan, who suggests excuses and subterfuges, and conquers their scruples, saying as he said to Eve in the garden: ‘Ye shall not surely die.’ Disobedience not only hardens the heart and conscience of the guilty one, but it tends to corrupt the faith of others. That which looked very wrong to them at first, gradually loses this appearance by being constantly before them, till finally they question whether it is really sin and unconsciously fall into the same error.”—Ellen G. White, Testimonies for the Church, vol. 4, p. 146.

May the Lord have mercy on us to obey His commands and STOP our daily compromise.   The day of The Lord is at hand!

Singing In Heaven...πŸ™πŸŒΏπŸŒΌ

There is singing up in heaven such as we have never known, Where the angels sing the praises of the Lamb upon the throne; Their sweet harps are ever tuneful and their voices are always clear, O that we might be more like them while we serve the Master here!

Holy, Holy, is what the angels sing, And I expect to help them make the courts of heaven ring; But when I sing redemption’s story, they will fold their wings, For angels never felt the joys that our salvation brings!              - Hymn 425

Friend, let us all be Faithful and be there to sing Redemption Songs, Glorifying our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ!

Be At Peace With Your Scares...πŸ™πŸŒΏπŸŒΌ

Be at Peace with Your Scares..

TODAY'S WORD:

We all carry invisible scars that come from inner wounds—perhaps from a divorce, from what somebody did, from a mistake we made, from a loss. So often we try to hide our scars. They remind us of the hurt. But you can be at peace with your scars. Those scars are your testimony; they tell your story. Instead of being depressed over what you’ve been through, have a new perspective—the enemy tried to stop you, but God brought you through it, healed you, and you have a scar to prove it. The scars can remind you of His grace and power.

Jesus’ back was lashed with thirty-nine stripes and His hands and feet and side were pierced. When He rose from the dead, you would think He would be perfectly restored, but He still had scars. This was significant. He could have taken them away. Maybe, in part, it was to show us that it’s okay to have scars.

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

”Father, on this day I give You thanks for waking me up this morning and starting me on my way. Thank You for my countless blessings. Thank You that I worship a Savior who has scars. Since He has scars, I’m okay with my scars. I’m not going to live bitter because of a disappointment, or in regret over past mistakes, or go around sour because somebody did me wrong. I’m at peace with my scar. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

GOD IS LOVE...πŸ™πŸŒΏπŸŒΌ

Love is not simply an impulse, a transitory emotion, dependent upon circumstances; it is a living principle, a permanent power. The soul is fed by the streams of pure love that flow from the heart of Christ, as a well-spring that never fails. … And this because the heart is in love with Jesus. Our affection for one another springs from our common relation to God. We are one family, we love one another as He loved us. When compared with this true, sanctified, disciplined affection... the shallow courtesy of the world, the meaningless expression of effusive friendship, are as chaff to the wheat. To love as Christ loved means to manifest unselfishness at all times and in all places, by kind words and pleasant looks.... It will lead us to bestow little acts of attention, to make concessions, to perform deeds of kindness, to speak tender, true, encouraging words. It will lead us to sympathize with those whose hearts hunger for sympathy. -Sons and Daughters of God 101

Open The Door...πŸ™πŸŒΏπŸŒΌ

God cannot work for you without your cooperation. Your heart must be in a condition to receive His appropriate gift before it can be bestowed. And when it is in that condition, you will feel an earnest longing that will naturally take the form of prayer. And when this longing is felt, when your soul feels an intense desire for the help that God alone can give, when the language of your soul is, “As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after Thee, O God,” the effect is to open the channel between God and your soul. Then the flood of blessings can descend which God was already waiting to pour out. And it is the intensity of your desire that determines how wide the door will be opened. Time is slipping away...open your heart and mind to Him now!!
