Adam, Where Are You?...πŸ™πŸŒΏπŸŒΌπŸ’žπŸ•Š

Today’s Word:

When God asked Adam, “Where are you?” it was not because He was confused or unable to find him. God is omniscient. He sees everything. He knows every hidden thought, every struggle, every mistake. His question was an invitation—an opening of His heart—saying, “Come out of hiding. I still want you.”

Adam had just fallen. Shame covered him. Fear ruled him. He ran from the One who had always been his Friend. Yet God pursued him. God stepped into the garden, walked toward the broken man, and called his name with tenderness, not accusation.

And today, He is calling *you* the same way.

Maybe you feel far from God. Maybe sin has wrapped around your life like thick vines. Maybe you think you’ve gone too far, failed too deeply, or disappointed God too many times. Maybe addiction has taken hold, and you feel stuck, embarrassed, or hopeless. But hear this clearly: You are not beyond His reach. You are not too stained for His mercy. You are not too lost for His grace. His voice comes softly: “My child, where are you? Why stay hidden? Come back to Me.”

Nothing you’ve done is stronger than the love that is chasing after you.

Today's Prayer:

Father, thank You for this beautiful and blessed day. Thank You for calling me even when I hide in fear or shame. Remind me that You are still pursuing me—not to expose me, but to restore me; not to condemn me, but to cover me; not to push me away, but to pull me close. Help me trust Your love more than my failures. Draw my heart back to You and keep me in Your light. Amen.

There's No Blessing In Pretending...πŸ™πŸŒΏπŸŒΌπŸ’žπŸ•Š

Today’s Word:

It's easy to go through life wearing masks, acting one way for our boss, one way for our friends, and another way for our spouse. Because we're not secure in who we are, we feel a need to impress, to prove something to people, so we pretend and hide behind personal masks.

Oftentimes it's the mask of pride. I don't have any issues. I don't need any help. But God will not bless who you pretend to be. God blesses people who are real, people who are honest enough to say, God, I have this bad habit. I'm struggling with my temper. I need Your help, so I'm taking off the mask.

When you're honest, you open the door for God to come in and change things. The apostle Paul said that love flows from a pure heart, a good conscience, and a sincere faith. It's time to take off that mask and be honest. When you get down to the real you, that's when God can turn things around.

Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions...  Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest...  Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Prayer for Today:

Father, thank You for the goodness in my life. When I wake each morning, I praise Your name! You have given me life that is filled with beauty, and the breath in my lungs is a gift from You. My blessings are many and my heart is filled with gratefulness for the gift of living, for the ability to love and be loved, for the opportunity to see the everyday wonders of creation. Thank You that I don't have to hide my weaknesses or mask my shortcomings. Search my heart and show me where my motives are wrong and where I'm pretending. I humbly admit that I don't have it all together, and I'm glad You're still working on me. In Jesus Name, Amen.

The Good Shepherd...πŸ™πŸŒΏπŸŒΌπŸ’žπŸ•Š

[1] The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. [2] He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. [3] He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. [4] Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. [5] Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. [6] Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: And I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever  -Psalm 23:1-6 KJV

To Be Like Jesus...πŸ™πŸŒΏπŸŒΌπŸ’žπŸ•Š

Those who work for Christ are to be pure, upright, and trustworthy, and they are also to be tenderhearted, compassionate, and courteous. There is a charm in the dealings and conversation of those who are truly courteous. Kind words, pleasant looks, a courteous demeanor, are of inestimable value. Uncourteous Christians, by their neglect of others, show that they are not in union with Christ. It is impossible to be in union with Christ and yet be uncourteous.

What Christ was in His life on this earth, that every Christian should be. He is our example, not only in His spotless purity but in His patience, gentleness, and winsomeness of disposition. He was as firm as a rock where truth and duty were concerned, but He was invariably kind and courteous. His life was a perfect illustration of true courtesy. He had ever a kind look and a word of comfort for the needy and oppressed.

His presence brought a purer atmosphere into the home, and His life was as leaven working amid the elements of society. Harmless and undefiled, He walked among the thoughtless, the rude, the uncourteous; amid the unjust publicans, the unrighteous Samaritans, the heathen soldiers, the rough peasants, and the mixed multitude. He spoke a word of sympathy here, and a word there, as He saw people weary, and compelled to bear heavy burdens. He shared their burdens, and repeated to them the lessons He had learned from nature of the love, the kindness, the goodness of God.

He sought to inspire with hope the most rough and unpromising, setting before them the assurance that they might become blameless and harmless, attaining such a character as would make them manifest as children of God....

The love of Christ mellows the heart and smooths all roughness from the disposition. Let us learn from Him how to combine a high sense of purity and integrity with sunniness of temperament. A kind, courteous Christian is the most powerful argument in favor of the gospel that can be produced.—The Review and Herald, August 20, 1959.

Reflecting Christ Love And Character...πŸ™πŸŒΏπŸŒΌπŸ’žπŸ•Š

Nothing can perfect a perfect unity in the church but the spirit of Christlike forbearance. Satan can sow discord; Christ alone can harmonize the disagreeing elements.... When you as individual workers of the church love God supremely and your neighbor as yourself, then there will be no labored efforts to be in unity, there will be oneness in Christ, the ears to report will be closed, and no one will take up a reproach against his neighbor. The members of the church will cherish love and unity and be as one great family. Then we shall bear the credentials to the world that will testify that God has sent His Son into the world. Christ has said, “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.”—Letter 29, 1889. [201]

Only Light Can Dispel Darkness...πŸ™πŸŒΏπŸŒΌπŸ’žπŸ•Š

When Christ came into the world, darkness covered the earth and gross darkness the people. The living oracles of God were fast becoming a dead letter. The still, small voice of God was heard only at times by the most devout worshiper; for it had become overpowered and silenced by the dogmas, maxims, and traditions of men.

Truth looked down from heaven upon the children of men, but found no reflection of itself; for darkness covered the earth, and gross darkness the people. If the darkness of error that hid the glory of God from the view of men was to be dispelled, the light of truth must shine amid the moral darkness of the world. It was decreed in the councils of God that the only-begotten Son of God must leave His high command in heaven, and clothe His divinity with humanity, and come to the world. No outward splendor must attend His steps, save that of virtue, mercy, goodness, and truth; for He was to represent to the world the attributes of God’s character; but the world, unaccustomed to gaze upon truth, turned from the light to the darkness of error; for error was more to their perverted taste than truth (The Review and Herald, August 6, 1895).

Step Into The River...πŸ™πŸŒΏπŸŒΌπŸ’žπŸ•Š

TODAY'S WORD:

When Joshua and the Israelites came to the Jordan River, there was no way for them to get across. God told Joshua to have the priests who were carrying the Ark of the Covenant step into the river; then the waters of the Jordan would part. I can imagine the priests saying, “Joshua, what if it doesn’t.” But instead, they dared to step into the unknown, and in that moment, the water upstream began piling up.

We say, “God, when You part the river, I’ll go.” God says, “Go, and I’ll part the river.” God purposefully puts us in situations where it looks impossible. When you don’t see how it can work out or where the funds are coming from, when every thought tells you to play it safe, if you’ll step into the unknown, along the way you’ll see miracles, doors will open that you couldn’t open, and the right people will show up. That’s when Jordan Rivers will part.

Circumstances can be painful. But even when situations seem overwhelming, believers can trust that our sovereign Lord knows all, is in control, and lovingly works everything for His children's good. We can rest confidently knowing that the unchanging God of all creation is taking care of us. Stay in faith - Your Jordan Rivers will part.

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

Father, thank You for your blessings. Help me to boldly step forward in faith knowing You are in control. I trust my future and my plans to You Father.  Thank You for the promise that You will part my Jordan Rivers. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
