Today, came sooner than I would have liked...but time rolls along and the goal is to keep moving.
My mother told me just a few months ago that she kept every Birthday card, Mother's Day card that I gave her because she loved them so much and she also said they were beautiful and unique. Today that comforts me.
Sending Mother's Day wishes to friends and family today was also therapeutic.
My brother wrote this poem in honor of my Mom for today...
Mortality
Like an event on stage, life is elusive and soon vanishes.
Experiences become life
And life becomes memories
Laid to rest.
In one moment it can be grasped and felt, in another, vapor and void sets in like the mystery of the wind.
