Not A Perfect Heart...πŸ™πŸ»πŸŒΏπŸŒΌπŸ’žπŸ•Š

TODAY’S WORD:

King Amaziah did what was right in the sight of the Lord, but Scripture adds a sobering phrase: “but not with a perfect heart.” Outwardly, he did many things right, but inwardly his heart was not completely surrendered to God. After God gave him victory, Amaziah turned and worshipped the gods of the people he had defeated.

The rich young ruler also appeared to have lived a righteous life. He had kept the commandments from his youth, yet when Jesus asked him to surrender what stood between him and wholehearted devotion, he walked away sorrowful (Mark 10:17–22).

These accounts remind us that it is possible to do what is right and still have a heart that is divided. We can pray, serve, attend church, give, and maintain an outward Christian life while quietly holding on to something God is asking us to surrender. What a futile way to live—to follow Christ outwardly while withholding our hearts inwardly. God is not looking for a flawless heart, but a surrendered one. He can transform a willing heart, but we must be willing to give Him all of it.

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

Father, thank You for this beautiful and blessed day. Search our hearts and show us anything we are withholding from You. Forgive us for divided devotion, and give us grace to surrender everything to You. Create in us clean hearts and right spirits, and help us follow You with our whole hearts. In Jesus’ precious name, Amen.

100% to God = 0% Compromise to the world!

Happy and Joyful Sabbath as We are filled with this Hope that Burns within Our Heart!
